Job summary

DeBra-Kuempel Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide advanced electrical system solutions and technical leadership across diverse projects.

You will mentor engineers, work with Project Managers, Electrical Estimators, and Field Superintendents, and oversee power distribution, building management, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems. Collaborate across disciplines, conduct field audits, prepare drawings and reports, and stay current with codes, products, and design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Professional Engineer licensure in OH, KY, IN (or reciprocity).
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, Excel, Word & other MS Office products.
• Experience with arc flash studies and infrared thermography inspections.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
• Experience using CAD programs like Revit, AutoCAD.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% locally and provide on-site support in Columbus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate information and analyze problems to develop effective solutions.
• Serve as SME for electrical design, retrofits, repairs, and replacements.
• Conduct field audits of electrical equipment and recommend actions.
• Prepare engineered drawings, equipment selections, and reports.
• Maintain relationships with customers and develop new ones.
• Collaborate with PMs, estimators, superintendents, and other engineering disciplines.
• Develop engineered solutions aligned with client needs.
