Job summary

DeBra-Kuempel Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide advanced electrical system solutions while collaborating with Project Managers, Electrical Estimators, and Field Superintendents.

The role includes mentoring junior engineers and leading technical efforts across power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and HVAC control projects. Based in Columbus, OH, you will develop engineered solutions, stay current with codes, and contribute to ongoing design-build initiatives and energy

Qualifications

10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
PE licensure in OH, KY, IN or reciprocity.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu.
Experience with arc flash studies and infrared thermography.

Responsibilities

Evaluate information and analyze problems to develop solutions.
Serve as SME for electrical design, retrofits, repairs, and replacements.
Prepare engineered drawings, equipment selections and reports.
Travel up to 40% locally and provide on-site support in Columbus.
