Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design of electrical systems for high-performance buildings in the Dallas–Plano area. With 8+ years in consulting engineering, you will oversee power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and low-voltage coordination on diverse projects, onsite in Plano, TX.

You will mentor staff engineers, review drawings, and collaborate with owners, architects, and contractors to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in MEP design and consulting engineering.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Experience with internal and external project management is preferred.
• Experience with Revit/AutoCAD and coordinating with Owners and Architects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and construction projects internally and with clients/contractors.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to staff engineers.
• Prepare, read, and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Stamp drawings and prepare affidavits as needed.
• Coordinate with owners, clients, architects, and contractors.
