Job summary

PROCEPT BioRobotics Corporation is seeking a Senior Staff Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design of capital equipment and accessories. You will own electrical architecture, drive DFx considerations, and mentor a team in a tightly regulated medical device environment.

You will collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and QA teams to deliver robust, compliant hardware, with emphasis on power electronics, analog/digital interfaces, and reliable lab testing.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering; 12+ years of related experience.
• Experience with power supply and high voltage designs.
• Familiarity with DFx including EMI, test, and manufacturing yield.
• Proven ability to design PCBA and lead cross‑functional reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document electrical systems for PROCEPT’s products.
• Lead electrical architecture for new products and coordinate with firmware, mechanical, and quality teams.
• Perform design risk assessments (DFMEA) and develop verification plans.
• Support design transfer, supplier evaluation, and regulatory testing (UL/CE/IEC 60601).
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure documentation compliance.
