Job summary

Merz Aesthetics seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead hardware and firmware design for medical devices. You will prototype in the lab, validate designs, and work with internal teams to meet regulatory and quality standards. Expect collaboration across hardware and software groups to deliver robust products.

Responsibilities include translating requirements into architectures, performing verifications, and ensuring safety and EMI compliance in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Systems Engineering.
  • 5+ years in medical device or highly regulated environments.
  • 7+ years in mixed-signal designs with FPGAs.
  • Exposure to IEC 62304 software lifecycle is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design of electrical hardware and embedded firmware for medical devices.
  • Develop system and subsystem requirements and architectures.
  • Prototype, test, and validate hardware and firmware in lab.
  • Ensure IEC 60601/EMC compliance and design control procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet schedules.
