Job summary

Millipore Corporation in St. Louis, MO is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to support CapEx initiatives in our Life Science business unit, guiding projects from initiation to closeout.

You will review drawings, manage budgets, coordinate external firms, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across manufacturing and labs, with up to 30% travel.

Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years capital project experience required; PMP preferred; MS Project and AutoCAD experience desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years' experience in capital project execution with responsibilities in projects design, engineering, equipment, execution, contractor management and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical safety, grounding, bonding, and arc flash studies to meet regulatory standards.
• Review and comment on drawings, single-line diagrams, and equipment specs for transformers, motors, switchgear, MCCs, UPS, and generators.
• Guide projects from concept to closeout through FEL/FEED, URS, design, engineering and permitting.
• Develop and track schedules, manage change control and risk, and document compliance for capital projects.
