Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. seeks a senior Principal Project Engineer for life sciences projects in St. Louis, MO. This contract role requires extensive capital project execution experience and a strong background in cleanroom environments.

Ideal candidates will drive design through construction and commissioning, manage scope, schedule and budget, and lead cross-functional teams with proactive risk management and clear stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 15+ years of engineering/project execution experience.
• Experience with Cleanroom design and construction within Life Sciences/pharmaceuticals preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical facility cGMPs and Grade C/D environments.
• Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, risks, and technical decisions.
• Experience from design through construction to commissioning/validation is ideal.
• Capital project execution and on-site construction experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level project engineering and technical expertise for life science projects.
• Lead workstreams within large projects to ensure delivery within scope, budget and schedule.
• Collaborate with site, project, and construction teams to enable timely decisions.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks with effective solutions.
• Maintain stakeholder communication and ownership across workstreams.
• Be located in St. Louis, MO or travel to site Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week.
