Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. seeks a senior Electrical Engineer III in Coppell, TX. You will oversee engineers and designers on high-profile projects, ensure compliance with standards and codes, and mentor staff.

This role requires a PE license, strong leadership, and expertise in power distribution and lighting design. You will prepare detailed design documents, perform short circuit studies, and coordinate with architecture, mechanical, and structural teams to deliver safe, constructible systems.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and codes.
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience; on-site field experience encouraged.
• Licensure as a US-based Professional Engineer is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of engineers and staff on projects and coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical trades.
• Prepare designs for power, lighting, and auxiliary systems and develop single-line diagrams.
• Conduct short-circuit/coordination studies, arc flash analysis, and distribution analysis; review specs and vendor submittals.
