Job summary

Rosendin is seeking an Engineer II in a mid-level role to provide technical information and support to senior engineers on electrical projects. You will ensure compliance with project requirements, codes and specifications while supervising junior engineers on assigned work.

You will develop power and lighting designs, perform calculations, and coordinate with multiple trades. The position emphasizes field surveys and involvement in Owner/Contractor meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architectural engineering, construction sciences, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of Engineering Experience
• Engineer-In-Training encouraged; PE registration desired
• LEED AP is desirable
• Combination of education, training and relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee junior engineers, designers, and staff; lead projects of limited scope.
• Review, comment, and process equipment and system submittals with Engineer of Record.
• Generate electrical specifications for the project.
• Develop complete sequences of operations for designed systems.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical trades.
• Prepare power/lighting designs and single-line diagrams; calculate feeders and protections.
• Coordinate with project Specifications or equipment buy-out.
• Visit job sites for field surveys.
