Job summary

Rosendin Electric seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer III in Coppell, TX. The role leads engineering teams on high-profile projects, mentoring staff and ensuring compliance with project requirements, codes, and specifications.

You will design power, lighting, and auxiliary systems, develop single-line diagrams, and perform short circuit studies. Travel up to 50% may be required; licensure as a US PE is required.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering including power distribution and lighting.
• Licensed Professional Engineer required (US).
• 5+ years engineering experience with on-site field exposure encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineers, designers, and staff on projects.
• May serve as Engineer of Record.
• Supervise submittals and coordination across trades.
• Prepare designs for power, lighting, and auxiliary systems.
• Develop single-line diagrams and protection sizing.
• Conduct short circuit and arc flash studies.
• Coordinate with client, architect, and mechanical contractor.
• Interface with Rosendin Project Manager on design criteria and budget.
• Visit job sites for field survey and verification.
