Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants seeks a Senior Engineer to lead electrical design across multiple projects and manage scopes, budgets, and schedules. You will coordinate with internal and external disciplines, mentor staff, and drive quality assurance to meet client contracts and PEC standards.

You will oversee technical deliverables, perform cost estimates, feasibility studies, and ensure compliance with building codes. Occasional travel may be required as projects vary.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Ten years of electrical engineering design experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently negotiate and manage scope across planning and execution.
• Lead and direct the discipline team to deliver on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with other design disciplines and stakeholders to develop solutions.
• Develop project budgets, fees, and proposals when needed.
• Prepare and review electrical plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Support project managers and communicate risks to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in design and QA.
