Actalent is seeking a Sr Electrical Engineer to lead complex electrical design projects from Blue Bell, PA with a hybrid work model. The role requires steering the design team, performing advanced calculations, and coordinating with clients and authorities having jurisdiction. Travel about 20% supports regional client sites.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in EE, 10+ years of experience, and strong Revit/AutoCAD skills, plus expertise in power distribution and life-safety systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience with medium voltage and life-safety systems.
• Experience supervising engineers and designers on projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Project Lead on all project phases, including feasibility, assessments, basis of design and detailed design.
• Break down project scope with PM for budget and staffing.
• Draft scope of work for design after client meetings.
• Prepare engineering studies and schematic designs for new systems.
• Review operation of existing systems and coordinate with codes.
• Assign and review work of the design team and track progress.
• Communicate changes of scope to clients and PM.
• Review contractor payments and understand construction processes.
• Coordinate project documents with clients and other professionals.
• Perform calculations for service sizing, short-circuit, arc flash, and load studies.
