Job summary

CP Engineers in New Jersey is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design across commercial, municipal, and infrastructure projects. You will develop scopes, budgets, and oversee drawings and analyses to ensure high-quality output.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, a NJ Professional Engineer license, 7–10 years of experience, and strong leadership. Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with SCADA/PLC is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Maintain active Professional Engineer (PE) license in NJ (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
• Minimum 7–10 years of electrical engineering experience with leadership/supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design for power distribution, lighting, energy, communications and control systems.
• Review and seal engineering drawings and specs; oversee EITs and junior engineers.
• Coordinate with multi‑disciplinary teams on project delivery and QA/QC.
