Job summary

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join a multidisciplinary team on projects across commercial, institutional, and government sectors. You will design electrical systems, coordinate with other disciplines, and guide project execution from concept through construction.

The role offers a competitive base salary of $130,000–$180,000, paid overtime, a discretionary annual bonus, and a hybrid work schedule with 401k matching.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical design.
• PE license in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD/REVIT.
• Knowledge of Title-24 Part 6 California Energy Conservation Code.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete construction documents including drawings and specifications.
• Perform and supervise designs for medium and low voltage AC/DC, single line diagrams, electrical plans and equipment layout.
• Lead interior and exterior lighting design and ensure compliance with IESNA requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and consulting teams throughout design and construction phases.
• Review deliverables and manage QA/QC through design and construction.
