Job summary

Coffman Engineers is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with eight years of consulting engineering experience to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. You will contribute to a variety of challenging projects, support the electrical group, and coordinate with other disciplines across the firm.

The role focuses on power systems for diverse building types, with opportunities to lead projects, travel for site visits, and work in a dynamic office environment four days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Knowledge of local codes and standards (preferred).
• Experience with local contractors, architects, and construction practices (preferred).
• Must be familiar with NEC, IEEE, NESC, IESNA, IECC, etc., and electrical/energy codes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical and lighting plans, specifications, and technical reports.
• Support business development and marketing initiatives as needed.
• Contribute to team mentorship, knowledge sharing, and firm-wide growth.
