Job summary

Stratus® is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer who will provide senior technical leadership on major projects, guiding design, analysis, and construction while ensuring compliance with client expectations and regulatory standards. The role combines expert guidance with mentorship of teams across disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have ABET-accredited engineering credentials and 10–15 years of electrical engineering design and PM experience, plus strong communication skills to convey

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 10–15 years of experience in electrical engineering design and project management.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills for guiding junior engineers and project teams.
• Ability to lead large-scale engineering projects and provide expert-level technical guidance.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex engineering projects with expert guidance to project teams.
• Provide leadership and oversight for a multidisciplinary team of MEP engineers.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and reports to meet standards and client expectations.
• Act as primary technical expert on projects, resolving design challenges with innovative solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers to foster growth and technical excellence across the team.
• Conduct quality control reviews at key milestones to ensure accuracy and goals.
