Job summary

MPO Solutions, LLC. seeks a senior Registered Professional Electrical Engineer (TX PE) to lead electrical design for aviation, industrial, and transportation projects. This on-site role in Irving, TX includes technical leadership, project delivery, and business development responsibilities in a Prime capacity for municipal clients.

Candidates will oversee design teams, ensure code compliance, and drive project schedules and budgets while advancing client relations and sector opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.
• 10+ years of post-licensure design experience in electrical engineering.
• Active involvement in IEEE, NFPA, IESNA, or other professional societies.
• Knowledge of design-build or progressive design-build project delivery methods.
• Ability to work 100% on site at our Irving, TX office.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of electrical engineering design work, including power distribution, lighting, and commissioning.
• Conduct facility electrical system condition assessments and develop repair/replacement strategies.
• Lead and mentor project teams through all design phases from concept to construction.
• Ensure adherence to NEC, NFPA, IEEE, NETA ATS, ASHRAE, and related standards.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies; develop scopes, schedules, and budgets.
