Job summary

States Manufacturing LLC in Minnesota seeks a Sr Electrical Engineer to oversee and lead the design of electrical control systems for Forgent products and processes, ensuring safety, quality, and customer delivery requirements.

You will guide engineering teams, review specifications, and develop robust electrical design packages while driving continuous improvement and staying current with industry trends. Travel is minimal, with on-site support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Ability to design and lead electrical projects to meet requirements and standards.
• 7+ years of engineering experience with leadership or advanced technical responsibilities.
• Experience supporting product assembly, manufacturing, and testing processes.
• Coordinate and manage engineering tasks for customer projects.
• Experience developing quotes or providing technical input for proposals.
• Proficient with electrical design software and engineering tools.
• Ability to use electrical test equipment for power/control systems.
• Strong relationship-building with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
