Job summary

States Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee the design of electrical control systems for Forgent products and processes, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while meeting customer documentation and delivery requirements.

You will lead cross-functional teams, review specifications, develop design packages, and select components, driving continuous improvement and on-site technical support with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Lead electrical projects based on functional requirements and standards.
• 7+ years engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience supporting product assembly, manufacturing, and testing.
• Ability to coordinate and manage engineering tasks for customer projects.
• Experience developing quotes or providing technical input for proposals.
• Proficiency with electrical design software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the design and development of electrical control systems.
• Review customer specifications and guide engineering teams.
• Develop electrical design packages using design software.
• Improve design processes with standardized practices.
• Evaluate components for use in control systems.
