Job summary

PS&S, LLC. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in New York to shape complex building and site electrical systems from concept through completion.

You’ll lead design efforts, coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers on a variety of life sciences, healthcare, education, and commercial projects. The role requires a PE or the ability to obtain one, 12+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of NEC/IBC.

Qualifications

• PE license or ability to obtain.
• 12+ years electrical design experience in A/E firms or design-build.
• Experience with building power, lighting and fire alarm systems.
• Familiar with NEC, IBC and NFPA standards.
• Proven project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for power, lighting, fire alarm, and related systems.
• Act as project lead, coordinating with disciplines and mentoring staff.
• Perform engineering analysis, calculations, and studies.
• Ensure code compliance and QA/QC of drawings and specs.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate systems.
