• Permanent position for a Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical design projects high performance building systems.
• Position is with a leading NYC (midtown) MEP design engineering consulting firm.
• Complete projects profitably and on schedule to develop high quality electrical system construction documents.
• Develop building automation system (BAS) controls and sequences of operation.
• Prepare electrical technical specifications.
• Mentor, train, and develop staff.
• Responsible for project quality control.
• Conduct calculations of electrical system requirements including power distribution, lighting systems, and fire alarms.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and client coordination.
• BS Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical design of commercial building systems.
• PE License required with experience in leading a project.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience with design of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, voltage drop, and fire alarm.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
