Job summary
Futures Consulting, LLC seeks a Mid to Senior-Level Electrical Engineer to join our growing MEP team in the Chicago area. You will design electrical systems for buildings, coordinate with architects and engineers, and lead projects from concept through construction.
The role requires 5+ years in electrical engineering within MEP/consulting, strong NEC knowledge, and proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit. Senior responsibilities and mentorship opportunities are available.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5–15+ years electrical engineering experience in MEP/consulting.
- Experience with power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for buildings and upgrades.
- Develop power distribution and lighting designs.
- Coordinate with architectural and other disciplines.
- Prepare drawings, specs, schedules, and documents.
- Provide construction administration support and field observations.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers.
