Job summary
Uber seeks a senior Electrical/Automotive Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and vehicle integration of complex wiring systems for L4 autonomous data-collection vehicles in Sunnyvale, CA. You will optimize network topologies, ensure signal integrity, and provide power redundancy for safety-critical sensors and computing platforms.
The role requires a bachelor's in Electrical or Automotive Engineering and 5+ years in automotive wire harness design, with deep CAD proficiency and knowledge
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Automotive Engineering required with 5+ years in automotive wire harness design.
- Proficiency in CAD software and deep knowledge of high-speed data protocols, EMI/EMC mitigation.
- Experience with safety-critical systems and automotive engineering standards is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, and vehicle integration of wiring systems for L4 autonomous data-collection vehicles.
- Optimize network topologies and ensure signal integrity and power redundancy for sensors and compute platforms.
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to meet safety and reliability requirements.
