OnlyHire.Me is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design for commercial and K-12 educational projects in Michigan. You will direct power, lighting, life safety, and security systems, develop detailed drawings, and ensure regulatory compliance, while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications include a bachelor's in electrical or architectural engineering, 15 years of electrical experience, and a Michigan PE license or reciprocity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with prior K-12 design experience.
• PE license in Michigan or ability to obtain license via reciprocity.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design of electrical power, lighting, life safety and security systems for commercial and K-12 educational buildings.
• Develop detailed electrical drawings, schematics, one-line diagrams and specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Manage electrical engineering projects from concept through completion.
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance in the selection of electrical systems and components.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and support staff.
• Interface with clients to understand project requirements and present proposals.
