OHM Advisors is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer in Michigan to lead electrical design for commercial facilities, including lighting, power, fire alarm, and IT systems. You will collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors, using tools like AGI, Bluebeam Studio, REVIT, Excel, and SpecLink.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience, a Michigan PE license, and travel willingness for local and regional projects, with a strong focus on QA across all phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• PE license in Michigan.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical design for commercial buildings, including lighting, power, fire alarm, and IT systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AGI, EasyPower or SKM preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel for local and regional projects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project team members, clients, contractors, and technical experts on project-related matters.
• Utilize tools such as Bluebeam Studio, Excel, MasterSpec, and MS Word for effective communication and documentation.
• Ensure quality assurance throughout all phases of the project.
• Manage projects from preliminary engineering to final design, construction documents, and field inspection.
