CS Erickson in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Electrical Engineer, PE to lead electrical system design for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. You will serve as Engineer of Record, ensuring code compliance and safety while collaborating with project teams.

You will mentor designers, review drawings, perform analyses, and support project staffing, proposals, and client engagements. Active PE in MI and TX required; 7–10 years experience preferred.

Competenze

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering.
• Active PE license in Michigan and Texas (or ability to obtain).
• 7–10 years of progressive electrical engineering experience.
• Experience as Engineer of Record on commercial or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and local codes.

Mansioni

• Serve as Engineer of Record (EOR) for assigned projects.
• Develop and approve electrical power distribution, lighting, grounding and bonding, and low-voltage designs.
• Prepare, review, approve, and seal/stamp electrical drawings and calculations.
• Perform load calculations, short-circuit studies, coordination studies, arc-flash analyses, and voltage drop calculations.
• Mentor and supervise Electrical Design Engineers and Designers.
• Support project teams with construction-phase engineering and RFIs.
