Job summary

Delta Engineering Group, LLC seeks a licensed Senior Electrical Engineer for our downtown Chicago office. The candidate will lead facilities design for public sector clients, participate in client meetings, and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities include electrical design, roadways lighting, ITS design, and QA/QC across multiple projects. Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation) and familiarity with industry codes are required.

Qualifications

• Requires IL PE license and ABET-accredited EE degree.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with CAD tools including MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, scope, estimate man-hours, and negotiate contracts.
• Manage project schedules, tasks, and milestones.
• Attend client meetings and supervise staff.
• Oversee production of contract drawings and QA/QC.
• Mentor junior designers and organize documentation.
• Design electrical facilities: lighting, power, alarms, communications, and grounds.
