Job summary

Brunel is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership across all project phases and act as a SME for complex initiatives. The role will operate on a 4x1 rotation in Bagdad, AZ, delivering high-impact engineering solutions to improve safety, efficiency, and cost.

You will guide site leadership and support capital programs with innovative approaches. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and control environments, plus proven

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5 years' experience.
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3 years' experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles in industrial environments.
Experience with electronics, PLCs, industrial control systems, and radio communication systems.
Broad understanding of mechanical/process concepts and their interaction with electrical systems.
Ability to manage large-scale, complex engineering projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to evaluate, recommend, and implement innovative technologies.
Commitment to workplace safety and ability to mitigate hazards.
Knowledge of design standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Professional Engineer (PE) license, preferred.
Experience in mining/heavy industrial/manufacturing environments.
Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and major capital projects.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Review, investigate, and develop technical recommendations for projects and challenges.
Lead and manage large-scale site construction, expansion, modernization, and infrastructure projects.
Serve as Electrical Engineering SME, providing guidance to operations and management.
Advise leadership on engineering best practices and regulatory compliance.
Contribute to site strategic planning, capital planning, and budgeting.
Develop and evaluate AFEs to support capital investments.
Evaluate, negotiate, and manage contracts for engineering services and equipment.
Represent site on committees, task forces, and project teams.
Identify and implement new technologies to improve performance and reliability.
Perform other duties as assigned.
