Job summary

Mesa Power Solutions in Evansville, WY seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead end-to-end electrical design for utility-scale power systems. You will handle protection coordination, short-circuit studies, relay settings, and control architectures across national deployments.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensure regulatory compliance (NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE), and drive projects from concept through commissioning in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience in electrical/power engineering for utility-scale or industrial projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of protection & control, relay settings, and SCADA integration is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced power system studies including short-circuit, arc flash, load flow, and protection coordination.
• Design and integrate low- and medium-voltage distribution systems and paralleling switchgear assemblies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and field staff.
• Interface with clients, utilities, and regulatory bodies to address technical questions and maintain schedules.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, UL, and other codes across equipment and site deployments.
