Job summary

Mesa Natural Gas Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical power systems for utility-scale and industrial projects. The role focuses on transmission, distribution, and protection & control, with client and regulator coordination.

Ideal candidates have deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a proven ability to mentor junior engineers while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4 year degree in electrical and power engineering from an accredited university.
• 7 years' experience in electrical and power engineering; utility-scale or industrial power systems preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of protection & control, SCADA integration, and a strong background in power system studies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and review complex electrical power system designs for utility-scale and industrial projects.
• Perform load flow, short circuit, arc flash analyses using industry-standard software.
• Lead project engineering from concept through commissioning with minimal supervision.
