The role requires strong organization, multi‑project leadership, and a track record in industrial/MEP electrical design; onsite in Austin with growth opportunities in power studies and design optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6–10 years in industrial/manufacturing MEP electrical design.
• Expert-level proficiency with Revit MEP for deliverables.
• Proficient NEC knowledge for overcurrent protection and conductor sizing.
• Experience designing power systems from MV to 120 V.
• Highly organized, multitask across projects and lead teams.
• Power system studies (SKM/ETAP); PE license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical power distribution design from scope through construction.
• Apply NEC to develop code-compliant designs and set direction.
• Drive coordination with Design Managers, Manufacturing, Construction.
• Own IFP/IFC deliverables (single-line diagrams, panel schedules).
• Schedule field walks and surveys with peers and Construction.
• Review submittals and update specifications as needed.
• Answer RFIs and mentor junior engineers.
