Our client and ManpowerGroup client partners seek a Sr. Electrical Engineer, Factory Design in Austin, TX to lead power distribution design for large-scale facilities. You will apply NEC requirements, develop code-compliant designs, and own deliverables from SLDs to grounding drawings in Revit MEP.

Coordinate with Design Managers, Manufacturing and Construction; review submittals, mentor junior engineers, and drive energization readiness through construction and commissioning onsite in Austin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6–10 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing MEP electrical design.
• Expert-level proficiency with Revit MEP for electrical deliverables.
• Proficient using NEC to calculate overcurrent protection for conductors/transformers.
• Experience designing power systems from MV to 120V; strong multitasking.

Responsabilités

• Lead electrical power distribution design from scope through construction.
• Apply NEC to develop code-compliant designs and set team direction.
• Own IFP/IFC deliverables including SLDs, panel schedules, grounding drawings, conduit drawings, power plans, and lighting layouts in Revit MEP.
• Coordinate with Design Managers, Manufacturing, Construction and other stakeholders; schedule field walks and surveys.
• Review and approve equipment submittals, update specifications, respond to RFIs, and mentor junior engineers.
