Job summary

Boise Cascade Company in Boise, ID seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager to lead electrical design for wood products facilities. You will oversee feasibility, design, procurement, construction, start-up, and post-startup optimization, with 30% travel to manufacturing sites.

Required: B.S. in Electrical Engineering; M.S. preferred; 480V distribution design experience; NFPA 70/70E knowledge; proficiency with EasyPower, AutoCAD, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required; M.S. desirable.
• Experience in 480V power distribution design and related systems.
• Experience leading multi-million-dollar industrial capital projects.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of engineering projects from feasibility through startup.
• Develop and manage scope, budget, and schedule for capital projects.
• Lead project teams including contractors and consultants.
• Travel to manufacturing locations (about 30% annually).
