Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Boise, ID, with relocation assistance available. You will lead electrical design across facility power distribution, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage systems, while coordinating with clients, owners, and contractors on site.

Qualifications

PE licensure in Idaho or ability to obtain
12+ years of electrical design experience for building systems
Strong NEC knowledge (NFPA 70)
Experience with electrical equipment specification, submittals, and field coordination
Ability to perform site punch walks and work in construction environments

Responsibilities

Perform, lead, and oversee electrical engineering and design for facility power distribution, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communication systems.
Supervise designer work, provide team technical leadership, and perform quality reviews of design packages.
Prepare technical specifications and bid/construction documents; serve as Electrical discipline lead or QC reviewer.
Collaborate closely with owners and contractors and support construction activities on site.
Participate in proposals and deliver proactive solutions to client challenges.
