Job summary

Janicki Industries, located in Sedro Woolley, Washington, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to own electrical design and control systems for multi‑million‑dollar machines. You will develop panels, wiring, and software integration on a hands‑on shop floor in a high‑demand aerospace environment.

You will lead UL508A design, mentor engineers, and collaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams throughout design, build, FAT, and commissioning phases.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited A.B.E.T. electrical engineering degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years in automation, robotics, or custom machine design.
• Experience designing UL508A control panels and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design of industrial control panels (UL508A).
• Create electrical schematics, panel layouts, BOMs and documentation in ePlan.
• Develop and implement automation improvements in manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software/controls engineers and technicians.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices across the team.
• Support FAT, installation, and commissioning phases.
