Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Experience with CATIA and NX or equivalent CAD software is required.
• Experience with composites, in lean manufacturing or complex aircraft assemblies is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with the customer and internal teams to ensure progress on all project stages.
• Communicates with design and manufacturing teams for support.
• Develops and releases project plans and manages schedules and budgets.
• Determines detailed requirements and deliverables and communicates status to the customer.
• Directs engineering activities including design, drafting, and work order prep.
• Ensures materials are organized and ready for manufacturing and participates in purchasing.
