Qualifications

• Minimum 5 yrs Experience in hydro or fossil power generation plant design.
• Familiarity with NFPA 70.
• Familiarity with California Electrical Code.
• Experience with power system analysis software such as SKM or ETAP is a plus.
• PE license preferred.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Function in an engineering capacity on hydro or fossil power projects.
• Develop and modify technical deliverables for modifications and upgrades on existing hydroelectric plants.
• Apply advanced engineering techniques and analyses with minimal supervision.
• Lead production teams and coordinate multi-discipline activity on project(s).
• Manage budget, schedule, and quality requirements for assigned tasks.
• Provide guidance on design guides, standards, and client policies.
