Job summary

The Planet Group seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer for a 12-month onsite assignment in Rancho Cordova, CA. The position requires a minimum of 5 years in hydro or fossil power generation plant design and familiarity with NFPA 70 and California Electrical Code.

Responsibilities include delivering complex engineering deliverables, budgeting and scheduling, and coordinating with multiple teams. PE license is preferred and on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from a recognized accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops complex engineering deliverables for larger projects.
• Performs complex research and develops recommendations for equipment and materials selection.
• Manages assigned budget, schedule and quality requirements.
• Coordinates with internal and external team members on moderately complex projects.
