Job summary

NPAworldwide in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead a multidisciplinary team from concept through construction, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with clients to deliver high-quality projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, a PE license, 10+ years in A/E consulting, and strong skills in power distribution, lighting, and building systems. Hybrid work with two days onsite is offered, along with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Required (non-negotiable).
• 10+ years of experience in an A/E consulting environment.
• Strong expertise in electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, building systems, etc.).
• Proven experience managing projects from concept to completion.
• Leadership experience with team supervision and mentoring.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering projects from concept through construction completion.
• Manage project teams, schedules, and technical deliverables.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure engineering excellence.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and support staff.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across various project types.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices.
