Job summary

VAA LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design power distribution, grounding, raceways and lighting for commercial and industrial facilities. You will mentor staff, lead project teams and ensure safe, constructible technical design across multiple disciplines.

The role requires a PE with 8+ years of experience, the ability to manage client relationships, prepare proposals, and support marketing efforts. Travel may be up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 8+ years of experience.
• Strong leadership and communication to manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers and technical staff on projects.
• Review designs for quality and coordination with disciplines.
• Develop one-line or riser diagrams and lighting/control specs.
• Travel up to 10% to construction sites.
