Job summary

P2S|CMTA is seeking an Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our award-winning team. The role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 remote) and a salary range of $115,000 to $150,000, with a performance-based bonus potential.

You will lead electrical design projects, perform field surveys, develop schematics, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams while upholding NEC standards and P2S documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 5–10 years of experience in electrical design and leadership.
• Ability to lead electrical design projects.
• Experience using NEC, AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM; Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field surveys for electrical system design and prepare site assessment reports.
• Prepare electrical schematic designs.
• Design power single line and riser diagrams; perform electrical calculations (arc flash, coordination, short circuit, voltage drop, load flow).
• Design low- and medium-voltage infrastructure; select equipment and ensure CAD/BIM standards.
• Coordinate across disciplines and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and communications.
• Lead projects with a service-first mindset; mentor junior engineers.
