Job summary

P2S Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to advance design and project leadership in a hybrid Seattle/L. Beach presence. This mid‑to senior role requires strong electrical engineering expertise and client‑facing project management.

You will lead electrical design efforts, coordinate with multi‑discipline teams, and mentor junior engineers while delivering high‑quality documentation and compliant designs. The position offers competitive pay and a performance‑based bonus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
Registered Professional Engineer license is required.
5–10 years' experience leading electrical design projects.

Responsibilities

Pre-Design Engineering: Perform field surveys for the design of electrical systems, gather information, and prepare site assessment reports.
Prepare electrical schematic designs.
Design Engineering: Design power single line and riser diagrams; perform electrical calculations (arc flash, coordination, short circuit, voltage drop, load flow) using ETAP/SKM.
Design low‑voltage and medium‑voltage infrastructure - preferred.
Design for electrical equipment (substation, switchboard, transformer, panelboard) replacement projects.
Understand and utilize CAD/BIM standards; apply NEC and Energy Standards.
Coordinate among disciplines (mechanical, plumbing, telecom, civil, structural, architectural).
Project Management: Lead projects with a service‑first mindset; oversee electrical design for small to medium‑size projects; mentor junior engineers.
Support proposals for small to medium‑size projects with senior engineers; uphold P2S standards for documentation and quality.
Construction Administration: Provide timely RFIs responses; review submittals for compliance; collaborate with contractors and field teams; prepare punch lists; ensure design intent is reflected in final systems; act as technical advocate during construction.
Experience participating in client meetings and technical discussions with owners, contractors, and stakeholders.
