Job summary

Engtal is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for an established Chicagoland MEP consulting firm. The role offers technical ownership across healthcare, education, data centers, hospitality and commercial facilities, with leadership opportunities and long-term career growth.

You will lead electrical design from concept through construction, coordinate with clients and architects, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to energy-efficient, sustainable design in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical engineering experience within MEP/building systems.
• Experience with power, lighting + electrical distribution systems.
• Ability to independently lead projects and coordinate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design across a diverse portfolio of building projects.
• Take ownership of projects from design through construction.
• Coordinate directly with clients, architects + multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Mentor and support the development of junior engineers.
