GodHeir Services and Technologies in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to lead the design and development of HVAC/R tools and equipment, guiding projects from concept through production with strong technical leadership.

You will mentor engineers, define specs, work with vendors and cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced, on-site environment with a 4-day work week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 8 years of progressive new product design experience.
• Knowledge of the new product development process.
• Ability to communicate technical information in presentations.
• Knowledge of lean principles.
• 3D CAD proficiency.
• Electrical: PCB assembly and circuit design experience.
• Electrical: Experience with EDA software.
• Proficiency in reading/writing English.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and development of HVAC/R tools and machines, including leading projects.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on complex problems.
• Develop product specifications and Bills of Materials for new ideas.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure accurate component specs and tolerances.
• Create test plans and perform testing to validate designs.
• Support production line and participate in production development meetings.
• Transform rough concepts into production-ready documents.
• Drive milestones and break down tasks for multi-engineer projects.
