Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to shape secure, high-speed digital electronics for ground, airborne, and space platforms. You’ll design CCAs using FPGAs, processors, and memory, with emphasis on SI/PI, EMI control, and manufacturability.

You’ll collaborate across Systems, Software, and Mechanical Engineering while supporting all hardware lifecycle phases, with potential Cedar Rapids or Fort Wayne placements.

Qualifications

• Degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience or 3+ years with an advanced degree.
• End-to-end circuit card development experience from concept to verification.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools and high-speed design practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design high-speed digital CCAs from requirements through production.
• Optimize signal/power integrity with modeling, simulation, and testing.
• Apply DFM/DFT to ensure producible, cost-effective designs.
• Support hardware verification, DVT, and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with systems, software, and mechanical teams as primary tech interface.
