Job summary
Apogee Consulting Group seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and coordinate building electrical systems for healthcare and other facilities in a collaborative, design‑team environment. You will develop high‑quality construction documents, lead designers, and ensure code‑compliant solutions with a focus on reliability and energy efficiency.
Requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering (ABET) and 8+ years of licensed experience, with active NCEES registration.
Qualifications
- Healthcare experience is required.
- 8+ years’ related experience as a licensed professional.
- Current PE license required; NCEES Registration.
- Licensed in at least one U.S. state.
- ABET‑accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MEP, Trace 3D, and MS Office.
Responsibilities
- Designs electrical systems for healthcare, commercial, municipal, and office buildings with backup and emergency power systems.
- Leads and directs designers in creating building designs.
- Ensures construction and testing conform to specifications and requirements.
- Develops construction documents and specifications.
- Follows NFPA70 (NEC) and other electrical codes and standards.
- Serves as Engineer of Record and mentors designers.
- Coordinates with other design professionals and project teams.
