Job summary

Apogee Consulting Group is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to design and coordinate building electrical systems for healthcare and commercial projects. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a PE license, and experience leading designers in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include creating construction documents, modeling power systems, and ensuring code compliance with NFPA70. Travel up to 20% and a commitment to client service are expected.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required with engineering license.
• Bachelor's degree in ABET-accredited engineering program.
• Licensed PE with ability to be Engineer of Record.

Responsibilities

• Designs electrical systems for healthcare, commercial, municipal, and office buildings with backup and emergency power.
• Directs designers and ensures conformance to specifications and NFPA70 (NEC) codes.
• Develops construction documents and project specifications.
• Coordinates with other design professionals and reviews field conditions.
• Leads modeling and analysis of power distribution and lighting controls.
• Travel up to 20% as needed.
