Job summary

Apogee Consulting Group is seeking an Electrical Designer to design and coordinate building electrical systems, prepare construction drawings, and support project delivery from concept through construction.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, at least four years of electrical/technology design experience, and knowledge of NEC/NFPA standards. Travel up to 20% is required; strong Revit skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in engineering.
Minimum four years of progressive electrical and/or technology design experience.
Knowledge of the NEC and NFPA standards.
Passed FE exam and pursuing PE licensure preferred.
LEED, RCDD, CEM, LC or other professional certification preferred.
Travel up to 20% depending on project.

Responsibilities

Assist electrical engineer and other designers in developing building electrical and technology system designs.
Design and produce construction drawings for power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems.
Produce detailed construction plans and schematics via CAD/BIM software.
Perform field investigations and construction site visits.
Coordinate with other disciplines and maintain high Revit proficiency.
Review product data submittals and provide construction period services.
