Job summary
Apogee Consulting Group seeks a seasoned Electrical Engineer to design and coordinate building electrical systems for healthcare and other facilities. You will develop high‑quality construction documents, lead design teams, and ensure code‑compliant, reliable power and lighting solutions.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years of licensed professional experience, a current PE license, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MEP, and Trace 3D.
Qualifications
- Healthcare Experience is required.
- Minimum 8 years of related licensed professional experience.
- Current PE License is required; NCEES registration preferred.
- Licensure in at least one US state is expected.
- LEED/Green Globes or sustainability credentials preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for healthcare, commercial, municipal and office buildings with backup power and emergency systems.
- Direct designers and coordinate building designs to meet specs and codes.
- Ensure construction, installation and testing comply with NFPA70 and NEC.
- Develop construction documents and specifications using CAD/CAAD tools.
- Model and analyze power distribution and life-safety systems; coordinate with other disciplines.
