Job summary

Shell seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Woodcreek, Houston team supporting SRAMI's global asset base. You will lead technical governance for gas-fired generation, renewables, substations, and grid interconnections, and provide reliability leadership across electrical systems.

You will mentor operations staff, coordinate with O&M providers, and drive improvements in maintenance strategies, incident investigations, and compliance with NERC/grid code requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• PE, CEng or equivalent registration preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in power generation or industrial electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle electrical maintenance strategies for generators, transformers, switchgear and grid interconnection assets.
• Provide SME support during outages, trips, disturbances, and equipment failures.
• Manage contractor relationships and oversee MOC/MTO governance with O&M providers.
• Ensure compliance with NERC/grid code requirements and protection system coordination.
• Drive reliability improvements and root cause analyses for recurring issues.
